Home Description
Description of the home
The apartment is fully furnished—furniture, art, a proper kitchen, and even a spare bed if you have visitors or need a temporary crash solution. Basically, you can arrive with a suitcase and your personality.
I’m happy to share food. The system is simple and ancient: I cook, you clean. This system has survived generations and works beautifully.
Gas and electricity is between $100 -$200 a month
Internet is $50 per month
Toilet paper and laundry detergent is $20-$25 every 3-4 months (I buy these in bulk)
There’s space for a bike, on-street parking, and the house is located in Brunswick East, close to all the good stuff (cafés, parks, trams, excellent bread).
Close to a Coles, bars on Lygon st, organic shops and gelato.
If you’re looking for a home that’s already set up, lived in, and cared for—this is it.

I work as an Operations Manager, which means I’m organised, values-driven, and occasionally very excited about a well-functioning system. I work from home two days a week, have a sewing space, and maintain an at-home fitness routine about 3–5 times a week (results may vary).
I walk my dog daily (non-negotiable, he unionised), enjoy going out dancing, and like having friends pop over—but this is firmly a home, not a party house. I run on an open-heart policy and aim to be welcoming, generous, and easy to live with. I’ll share food sometimes, vibes often, and space always.
I’m an introverted extrovert: sociable, then immediately needs alone time to recover from being sociable. I love watching series and often have the TV on in the background while I work—it’s not procrastinating, it’s ambience.
I’m into science news, music, and podcasts of all kinds, love dogs, art, and festivals, and have interests in astrology, women’s magic, plant medicine, and caring for the planet. I don’t push beliefs on anyone—live and let live, with snacks.
I’ve lived in a few different cities and generally get along best with people who are well-travelled, well-lived, and emotionally functional adults.
I’m looking for a flatmate to share my Brunswick East townhouse and would love to find someone kind, grounded, and good at coexisting.
A confident, empathetic human who is tidy but not militant about it (full disclosure: I’m a spreader, not a destroyer). Someone who’s lived a bit and understands that some days are sparkling, some days are “leave me alone with a cup of tea.”
You’re busy in a good way. You like outdoor sports, but you’ll also happily sink into a sci-fi series without judgement. You’re open-minded, non-judgy, and know how to live with other people without needing a house meeting about every emotion.
You can hold your own in a conversation, read the room, and understand the delicate art of alone time vs us time. You’re independent, thoughtful, funny, and emotionally literate enough to know when to engage and when to disappear quietly into your room.
You clean up after yourself, are happy to lend a hand when needed, and—this is crucial—are a responsible adult who pays bills on time without drama.
Basically: a good human. If you exist, please identify yourself immediately.
