About El Rancho (the house)
We are located on beachside frontage at Ramsgate Beach (Little Venice) on a mammoth block, hence the name, El Rancho. The house is an older style but is massive and has been upgraded with all the mod cons. It is full of gorgeous character, spacious, and very comfortable. There is plenty of natural light throughout, with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We have a huge backyard with fruit trees and open areas, perfect for entertaining, having a nap in the hammock, gardening, or playing outdoor games. The front yard is very lush with ocean views—perfect for a BBQ or a book and a cuppa. The house is fully furnished and tastefully curated with art and travel memories. It takes us less than 30 seconds to jump onto the beach. We are surrounded by beachside footpaths and parks, with plenty of public transport and parking (less than a minute's walk to the bus stop). We are also close to many cafes, restaurants, and shops.

The three of us are working professionals aged 30+. We work in the aviation, humanitarian, and environmental sectors. We value a clean, tidy, and environmentally conscious home. We love to socialize and eat together but also have our own private lives. We are extremely community-minded and spend a lot of time making our house a home while enjoying some banter and cheeky bevies. We enjoy good times, laughter, adventurous entertaining, and casual philosophical conversations. Rock & Roll in our veins and Zen in our hearts.
What we are looking for:
We're looking for an independent, like-minded individual (preferably late 20s+) who is respectful. We don't want to spend our energy educating anyone; being clean, house-trained, and contributing to the home is the vibe. You should be easy to live with, friendly, and self-sufficient—someone who has their own thing going on but is up for a chat or a hang and doesn’t use the place as just a landing pad. LGBTQIA+ friendly. You must be community-minded and considerate. This is not a party house, but the fun is all around us. We keep the mid-weeks chill and like our home to be a sanctuary in the heart of the hub. No pets, sorry!
