2-storey, 2-bed townhouse with a private back courtyard, secure underground parking, in a great location. The home is well-maintained and set up for comfort.
There’s good separation between shared and private spaces, so it’s easy to coexist without feeling on top of each other. The courtyard is a nice bonus for a morning coffee or winding down in the evening. The downstairs is open-plan and extends straight into the courtyard (will be installing a retractable awning very soon). Lots of light and greenery (currently building a vertical garden for the back wall) makes it feel uplifting, and the temperature moderation is great. The secure underground car space is available as I currently only own a motorbike which I can park elsewhere.
Location
In terms of location, it's hard to beat. All amenities and transport links within a short walking distance (cafes, restaurants, supermarket, chemist, train, metro, buses, many factory outlets). Alexandria itself is very well located: 15mins from Coogee beach, 10mins from the airport, 15mins from the city, 5mins to Newtown. Entrance to M8/M5/M4/M1 motorways are nearby as well as Waterloo Metro and Erskineville train station for T4 and T8 lines.
Household Vibe:
I’m looking to create a sensible, adult household where:
- Everyone cleans up after themselves
- Communication is direct and respectful
- Privacy respected
Happy to share the occasional meal or chat, but equally fine doing our own thing.
There are a few basic rules (no shoes upstairs, notify in advance of guests etc) but nothing is hard and fast and happy to be flexible so long as there's good comms.

For 2026 I will be focusing on my job/career. I work fairly long hours and am in the office (in the CBD) 5 days a week, usually from 9 until at least 6:30/7pm. I therefore don't get a lot of time to enjoy the house except on weekends... ☹️ Hence why I'm keen for someone else to enjoy it! My preference for a housemate is someone who is a professional, also works 3+ days in the office but I can be flexible on that.
Outside of work I enjoy:
- Good conversation, but also quiet downtime
- DIY / improving the place gradually
- Keeping fit
- Socialising on the weekends
I’m social but independent, and I’m often busy with work or personal projects. I don’t drink at home and only occasionally out (usually on Friday/Saturday) or host many gatherings (although I sometimes have friends over for meals).
