Home Description

Description of the home

This home is truly something special. The building has a concierge, a rooftop pool, common BBQ area, and one of the most beautiful views of Melbourne you will ever see.

The apartment is modern, bright, relatively quiet for the area (except during the F1) and incredibly comfortable. I love to keep a clean, calm space that's relaxing to return to after a hectic day at work. It is the kind of place where you feel instantly at home and you'll be proud to return to every day.

The location is where the value really shows:
+ Transport: Multiple tram routes run along Fitzroy Street (12, 16 and 96) and St Kilda Junction (3, 5, 16, 64, and 67) , giving you fast, direct access to the CBD and inner suburbs.
+ Everyday convenience: Short walk to Woolworths, gyms and plenty of useful shops.
+ Lifestyle: Surrounded by great cafés, restaurants and bars along Fitzroy Street and nearby Acland Street – think local brunch spots, chill bars, and late-night options.
+ Outdoors: About a 15-minute walk to St Kilda Beach and Catani Gardens, plus running and walking tracks around Albert Park Lake right outside the building.

About occupants
I'm Darcey, 37, and am well-versed in share house etiquette, having lived in share houses since moving out of home. For me, as an introverted extravert, energy management is a big deal, so I am all about splitting my time between my friends and housemates, and also spending time vibing on my own to recharge.

As a career-driven individual, I work fulltime (a Monday-Friday gig) and studying my masters part-time, so I spend alot of time at the office.

I'm quite a relaxed kind of guy. I'm uneasily offended, enjoy a good laugh, and, on occasion, a wine after work. My favourite Netflix series must have a great story and superb character development, but the genre is completely open (bonus if you've seen The Boyfriend). Also, most days, I’ll head to the gym, so if this is you as well, let’s team up and train together!

My weekends usually are filled with studying, catching up with friends, bingeing my latest Netflix obsession (K-Drama anyone?) or heading outside to tackle some fun in the sun; hiking, swimming, beach, grabbing a coffee and a book in the park, outdoor cinema, brunch, the list is wildly long!

Description of pets
Living with me is Noah, a 12-year-old British Shorthair (cat). He can be shy at first, but quickly warms up to others. He is quite the independent character, entertaining himself and napping away the day, and is completely house-trained.
Ideally, you'll have lived with a cat before so you understand how they think (and aren’t bothered lint-rolling your clothes after he smooches up for a pat)
