Home Description

Description of the home

Peaceful home on a quiet street 2 min drive or short walk to the beach.

2 bedroom home, 1 bathroom, separate toilet, open plan kitchen, dining, lounge. Level entry with a small threshold/lip at front and back door frames.

The backyard has grass and sun lounges, the front yard has a table and chairs amongst a native garden.

Front room is a multi-purpose space. Storage unit, desk (currently with sewing machine), armchair and floor space for movement practices, etc.

Stevie my cat loves to sit in the window looking out into the front garden.

I have an enclosed area off the back of the laundry for Stevie to enjoy the outdoors, she is otherwise an indoor cat.

Home is already furnished but happy to tweak it so it feels good for both of us. Little storage space - no shed.

About occupants
Bonnie (she/they, 38)

I am queer, politically left, environmentally conscious - I would describe myself as empathic, enthusiastic and sincere.

Love being in the water and camping (recently bought a campervan!) and dream about building stronger community, being in nature more and creating more art.

Can be found practicing qigong, meditating, dancing, reading and resting with my cat.

Good to know - I’m home most of the time as I live with chronic fatigue syndrome. Home is a sanctuary for me and it’s incredibly important to me to find someone that will be a good fit. I work an admin job from home and am beginning a journey to teach qigong.
Compatible people
A kind, easy going and compassionate soul who wants to cultivate a peaceful and friendly home.

You value open communication and creating a harmonious and safe space where boundaries are respected.

You take pride in your home looking and feeling nice.

You’re a cat lover and are happy to take care of Stevie when I go away (or if away yourself are comfy with me getting someone else in to cat sit).

You work or have regular commitments outside of the home.
Description of pets
Stevie is 7, she was a foster fail, not leaving my side since she was 5months old. She loves lying in her catio watching birds and eating grass. She likes to switch up her sleeping spot every few weeks. Independent Queen, who loves someone to whisper her stories, follow her around the house and then receive pats at the location of her choosing. Less is more for her 😉
