Home Description

Description of the home

Set in an architect-designed, beautifully converted warehouse, this contemporary and modern 3-bedroom loft sits right in the heart of the city. Spacious, light-filled and genuinely oversized for inner-city living, this is a one-of-a-kind home, a setup you simply won’t find anywhere else in the CBD, high-end and still affordable.

Just a block from Gouger Street and moments from the Central Markets, parklands, great cafés, and free public transport (city loop + Flinders Uni), the location is seriously hard to beat.

The loft itself feels generous and thoughtfully designed. The bedroom is a standout: a big ground-floor sleeping area paired with your own private mezzanine level, ideal as a study, chill-out zone or creative retreat (Yoga ?). It’s a unique layout that’s even better in person and hard to capture properly in photos. The room comes fully furnished, including a queen bed. Bills are not included in the rent and are shared separately.

The home is shared by just two people, which means plenty of space, privacy and a calm.

A few practical notes: the home has one shared bathroom (so no couples, sorry) and the bed room has a heater and fan.

If you’re looking for a designed, spacious inner-city loft with a big bedroom that feels special the moment you walk in, calm and works particularly well for an international student or city-based professional, this one is worth a closer look.

About occupants
Hi ! I work full-time as a Program Manager and am based in the city. I’m generally quite independent and easy-going, I cook my own meals, keep busy with work and projects, and enjoy a calm, respectful home environment. That said, I’m always up for a friendly chat and sharing the space in a positive way.
Outside of work, I’m into arts and culture, love travelling, and get around mostly by bike. I try to live fairly green and sustainably and I spend most of my social time out and about rather than hosting at home.
This isn’t a party house. I’m ideally looking for a mature, clean and independent housemate who values a relaxed, respectful home.
International students are very welcome 🙂
Compatible people
I’m looking for someone mature, calm and thoughtful, who enjoys a peaceful home environment and contributes to a comfortable place to live.
I also appreciate someone who is mindful of sustainability, things like being conscious of energy and water use, recycling, and generally trying to live in a more environmentally responsible way :)
