Personal introduction
Hi there — I’ve recently moved from Brisbane to Perth on September 1st and have been travelling since while taking a sabbatical. I’m flying back to Perth on 11 January and am looking for a room to rent for around six months while I settle in and begin the process of purchasing my own apartment.
I’m self-funded, responsible, and make sure rent and bills are always paid on time. I’m clean, respectful of shared spaces, and tend to keep to myself, but I’m also friendly and enjoy a relaxed, positive home environment. I’m hoping to find a comfortable place I can treat like home while I’m getting set up in Perth.

Compatible people
For me, a good housemate is someone who’s considerate, honest, and easy to live with. It’s about respecting each other’s space, keeping shared areas clean, and communicating openly when things come up. I really value people who are reliable with rent and routines, but also friendly enough to share the occasional chat or meal. At the end of the day, a good housemate helps create a home that feels calm, comfortable, and relaxed for everyone.
Food sharing and furniture
I love to cook and I’m happy to share food, especially for things like staples or meals we cook together. I don’t eat beef, but otherwise I’m pretty easy-going in the kitchen and respectful of others’ preferences.
In terms of furniture, I’ve got a full household worth of furniture currently in storage as I recently sold my three-bedroom house in Brisbane. Since I don’t plan to unpack anything until I purchase my next property, I’d prefer a room that’s already furnished.

Description of pets
I don’t have any pets of my own, but I love cats and dogs.
