Hi there! My name is Heidi, mid-30s, looking to share a house with 1 or 2 people. I have been living in a 2 bedroom villa for the past 7 years, but am now looking to move due to continual rent increases that no longer reflect the value of the property. Ideally, I would also like to move to a suburb closer to work and uni - I currently work part time as a mental health peer worker and will also be starting a Masters of Music Therapy from the end of February. At times I am also busy in the evenings for rehearsals/shows, so may not always be around and/or too exhausted to be overly social if getting home later. But I am definitely friendly and considerate and happy to hang out for a dinner or movie night etc. when our schedules match :-)
***I do also want to flag that I would like to take Lily, a white short hair indoor cat with me when I move, if possible. She is 14 years old and shy at first, spends most of her time chilling in my room, and not super active as she is now in her senior years. Technically, she is my current housemates cat, but he has stated I could take her if I find a suitable place, and I would like to do so if possible, as we have established a really close bond together after 7 years and I think we would both miss eachother.*** However, I am aware that this may not be a possibility for some households, so for now it's just a flag and an ask if it's okay with you :-)

I'm looking to share with someone who prefers a relaxing house environment, rather than a party house, and are happy to have a chat while also having your own life going on. If any issues arise, to say how you are feeling at the time so we are able to resolve anything together rather than it becoming a bigger issue in future (just acknowledging everyone has their quirks and no one is perfect so let's accept and embrace it!)

Regarding furniture, I have my own kitchen utensils and furniture for my room only. I am unable to contribute any communal furniture at this stage, but I do have some indoor plants that I'd like to contribute to the living/dining space.
