I’m a 41yr old gay male who works in construction installing NBN pits in new estates. I work full time Mon-Fri contract work. Being the start of the year, it’s always slow so at the moment I’m working around 3 days a week. I usually leave around 5am and can be home anywhere from 11am-5:30pm. Depends on the job.

My relationship has just failed so I’m looking for somewhere ASAP. Preferably around the 3-5 month mark. Just need to save a bit more money and I’ll move on interstate.
I pay $150 in rent and never missed a payment. I’m willing to pay more but not a tonne more.
I used to live by myself and rented through LJ Hooker and Harcourts.
I have lived in shared accommodation before when I lived in the UK for 2yrs and never had an issue.

I can be quiet but also talkative. I like my own space and company but also like to socialise. I’m clean, pick up after myself but my bedroom can have areas of organised mess (I draw so I have an area with pens, paper ect).
I’m a self diagnosed neurodivergent.
I clean up after myself and do my fair share of cleaning.

I don’t have much personal belongings as I gave away most of my stuff when I moved into my partners place 8yrs ago. I just need 1 room.

I cook but sometimes I’ll just grab some take away or something easy to chuck in the oven. Happy to share meals but don’t want to fall into the trap I’m already in where I have to organise and pay for dinner every night.

I love animals and nature. I don’t have pets since my dog passed but very happy to live with them. I like cats but prefer not to live with one as I’m allergic. I have lived with one before so it’s doable. I just have to take precautions like allergy tablets and washing my hands after patting.
I like to go for bush walks, watch TV or just sit and draw.
I’m a pretty simple person and easy to get along with. I use to be a hairdresser so I’m use to interacting with all walks of life.

I don’t do drugs or alcohol. I do smoke cigarettes outside.

Just someone who is respective of personal space and belongings. Compassionate, understanding and considerate.

Being a gay/bi male is huge bonus points. It’s where I’ll feel most comfortable

Happy to share cooking, look after myself or both. I don’t have any food allergies or dietary requirements.
I have no furniture at all. Preferably looking for a place with a bed but happy to go out and buy myself a blow up mattress. I’m easy
