Personal introduction
Hey folks, I'm Nick. I'm a 42yo gay man moving from Adelaide to Melbourne in February and looking for a new home for me and my cat, Mr Meowgi. I work as an Exercise Physiologist, currently full-time but will be job hunting once I move. I have enough savings to see me through until something comes up. I am also enrolled into a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy studying part-time in the evenings. I enjoy cycling and hiking and will be looking to get out and explore my new surroundings on weekends.
I'm looking for a house that is equally social and respectful of personal space. I already have a solid friend base around Melbourne so you won't have to provide me with endless company or entertainment. Ideally, you're open to pets but don't already have any (not a deal breaker but a serious consideration). Mr Meowgi is a bit of a lone wolf type and much prefers the outdoors to indoors, but he does stay inside at night time.
Ideally, I'm looking for more than just renting a bedroom. I am coming from a 3 bedroom house so will be needing to get rid of a lot of furniture in the move. I would also be happy to start up a new sharehouse. I have a car so having somewhere to park it would be ideal. If you think we might make good housemates, reach out and let's chat. I would prefer to visit, meet and inspect before agreeing to move in.
