Personal introduction
Ewan. Recently moved from Canberra. Found a nice place in Thornbury and moved in in mid January. Have been establishing local doctor, etc. But have just had notice of a sigificant rent increase, so looking to move within the same area.
I am quiet in a house (but still house-hold sociable), clean up after myself, and don't impose on other residents. I have an excellent record of paying rent and utilities, and can provide references. Am getting on a bit, so don't expect a party-boy!
Theatre musician. Some music teaching. Won't be noisy with music without permission if anyone else is at home, or late at night. Also work in mapping. So either night work, or day work, depending on the gig.

Compatible people
Prefer people who don't need constant interaction. But politeness day to day is good. Household conversation is good.
Food sharing and furniture
Prefer to do own food, as I have no-complications diabetes (no needles). Am happy to live with people who have diet considerations, will respect those needs, and would like my diet requirements to be respected. (I eat animal products, including bacon.)
I have bedroom furniture, a few bookshelves, and a couple of chairs.
Two harmoniums (size of a small piano). If needed, I can probably get rid of them, but would prefer to keep them, as they're working instruments that are very hard to replace.
