Personal introduction
Hi, I'm Seb and I'm looking for a friendly place to stay at while I study at UQ.
I always struggle to be concise when filling out these so enjoy the ramble. I'm pretty happy to both socialise my jaw off while also spending time quietly just reading or bingeing a good tv series. I don't drink much except when the occasion calls for it. I've played a array of sports in my life but anything I join these days is just for the social life. Every now and then I'll harness some weird energy and go all Forrest Gump, choosing to train & run in the local marathon, and just have a few years afterwards chilling. I'm weirdly chill and struggle to remember ever getting angry about anything or anyone. I tend to find humour in almost anything, especially the things I'm actually serious about. I'll probably spend the next year trying to fumble my way into a brave new world as a fresh baby bachelor.
Just some background on where I'm coming from (hoping it's not TMI) I'm moving out of my house in Red Hill due to the end of a very long relationship. I considered a single bed apartment but I don't find that very attractive as a lifestyle choice. I've always done much better living with others so I'm using this platform to see about seeking a friendly group of flatmates.

Compatible people
Pretty much the basics of etiquette. It would be nice to be with others who like to hang out a bit in shared living spaces rather than the invisible tenant that is never seen. Otherwise you do you, I'm not one to worry much about different personalities or beliefs, as long as the other is unfussed about things like that as well.
Food sharing and furniture
I've no dietary restrictions. While I do prefer prepping my own food, if there's household shared cooking plan then that's not a problem.
Furniture wise, I've got a queen mattress and a study setup that I'd like to say just install in my room. I'm a bit of a DIY/tinkerer so I've got a few tools to bring along if it would help out with maintenance in the house or garage. Otherwise I'm pretty flexible to move idle furniture in or out of friends and family's homes nearby depending on space and need. Items include a decent washing machine, gardening equipment, core power tools, a good 3 seater couch along with a few other minor bits. Happy to add these to a household if it would help fill any gaps.
I also have a small hatchback that does it's job for when public transport isn't ideal. I'm not fussed with parking in the street if there's no alternative. It's just something to get me from point A to point B.
