Hey! I’m Violet, a 23-year-old currently in my final year at QUT studying a Bachelor of Communications — so yes, I’m a professional yapper when required. I work at Red Bull, which means there’s usually a very generous supply on hand for housemates to enjoy. I love a good chat and a laugh, but I’m also very respectful of personal space and genuinely value alone time. I’ve got an active social life, so I’m often out and about, but when I’m home I’m easygoing, considerate, and big on keeping good vibes in the house

A good flatmate to me is someone who’s positive, easy-going, and feels more like a friend than just someone you live with. Cleanliness and respect are really important — especially being mindful of shared spaces and each other’s schedules. I love a flatmate who’s down for a chat, a spontaneous TV binge, or the occasional shared dinner, but who also values quiet time and personal space. It’s all about good communication, mutual respect, and creating a comfortable home.
Food sharing and furniture
I think it works best to share essentials like salt, pepper, condiments and butter, but I’m more than happy arranging my own meals day to day. That said, I love the idea of an occasional flatmate dinner — I’m a very active cook and genuinely enjoy cooking for other people, so I’m easy either way. I’m not vegetarian or vegan, but I’m very respectful of people who are. I don’t currently have living room furniture worth contributing, but I’m more than happy to pitch in for anything that’s needed. I do have a coffee machine though, which I consider an absolute essential as a caffeine addict
