Hi, I’m Tessa, 29, a Biomedical Sciences master’s student from the University of Amsterdam. I’m moving to Brisbane in October for a ~7-month research internship at the University of Queensland, where I’ll study endometriosis using organoid models. During the week I’ll be busy at the lab, but I make plenty of time for myself; whether that’s salsa dancing, lifting at the gym, or enjoying a quiet evening with a book. I’m also always up for a flat white or a pub night if there’s rugby on!
